Treatment Services
Detoxification services are provided to those individuals physically dependant on alcohol or other drugs or who are intoxicated or otherwise in a crisis situation due to alcohol/drug abuse and need stabilization. Individuals admitted to the detox program are screened to determine eligibility and appropriateness. Evaluations and recommendations are made used DSM IV ® criteria and Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services, Regional Alcohol and Drug Detoxification protocol. We provide a safe environment for the client in the midst of crisis. The goal of our detoxification service is to provide a safe withdrawal from alcohol or other drugs of dependence thus enabling the client to become free of non-prescribed medication and to provide a withdrawal that is humane and protects the client’s dignity and encourages the client to participate in ongoing treatment for his or her dependence.
These services are facilitated by our Registered Nurse, Licensed Professional Nurse, and Regional Alcohol and Drug Specialists (trained and certified by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services) and supervised by our Medical Director.
Upon completion of the Detoxification Program the individual is evaluated in which recommendations may be made to either our residential or outpatient program and followed up with aftercare.
