Treatment Services
South Arkansas Substance Abuse also provides partial day outpatient treatment to individuals deemed well enough not to need detoxification or residential treatment but who are not able to attend the evening outpatient program due to work or family situations. The partial day treatment consist of 5.5 hours of group sessions per day Monday thru Friday with an individual session at a minimum of once per week. The partial day treatment curriculum is the same as the residential. All partial day treatment clients receive all services provided for residential treatment including one meal a day.
The screening, assessment and intake processes as well as the medical treatment, psychological therapy, occupational/vocational training, job counseling, education and social and domestic rehabilitation are the same for partial day outpatient clients as in residential program.
South Arkansas Substance Abuse uses the TCU Mapping Enhanced Counseling, "Matrix", and the Evidence Based Motivational Interviewing (all evidence based programs) for all of its residential and outpatient treatment services. Our counselors have been trained in all practices.
